I gotta tell you about this amazing video I just did with Nathan Anderson.

It was at the end of UnSeminar3, late Sunday night, when I finally convinced him to make this video with me.

Who is Nathan Anderson?

Nathan's been working in the computer industry since 1991.  He's been studying Search Engine Optimization since 1999.  He's the author of the book, "SEO Tactics." 

He's also the genius behind "metawebs," which is a system that has made a lot of people very rich.  He's got the inside information on search engines. 

Although he had spoken on Saturday at a much larger seminar, he had agreed to fly down to Austin on Sunday and speak at UnSeminar3.  I knew I had to take advantage of that opportunity to interview him. 

Who am I?

I'm Pat O'Bryan, the "Portable Empire" guy.  I put on seminars, write books, and produce videos about internet marketing.

I'm also the author of The Absolute Beginner's Guide to Internet Wealth.  I've made a career out of teaching beginners what they need to know about internet marketing to be successful.

There's a trick to it.  It's easy to get swamped with information overload.  There is just so much conflicting information swirling around.  My job is to sort through all that, and teach my clients what they need to know in a way they can understand- and do it fast.

Because I knew almost nothing about SEO (and what I thought I knew was wrong!), I figured I'd be perfect for the interview.   I wanted to end up with a video that would give an absolute beginner everything they needed to compete. 

I knew I could ask the same sort of questions that any other newbie would ask, which would be a lot more valuable for my customers than letting Nathan just talk about SEO and traffic.  SEO and traffic generation is where he lives.  It's what he does.  When he starts talking about that stuff, he leaves me behind at "hello."

So, I asked the questions.  I made him go back and explain himself, define the words he was using, and slow down enough that I could follow him- and so that, by watching this video, you'll be able to master SEO and traffic generation- even if you've never been able to before.

To be honest, we were both beat.  I'd been running a seminar for three days and Nathan had spent the weekend traveling, speaking, and not sleeping.

But, as soon as we got the cameras rolling and Nathan started talking about SEO and traffic generation, I felt like I'd slammed a pot of espresso.

This video is dynamite.  Once it gets out, it's going to put a lot of so-called "experts" out of business. 

I've always been afraid of SEO.  It's technical.  The people who do it for a living talk about it like it's the most mysterious and arcane science imaginable.  They baffle with BS, and throw jargon around like ninja techno-geeks.  And they're expensive.

So, I just ignored it.  I did the stuff that I read about on forums, and that most people do.

Quickly, I realized that everything I thought I knew was wrong.

Let's get a couple of things straight- SEO is nowhere near as hard as I thought.  In fact, after listening to Nate, I realized that SEO is easy.  Anybody can do it.

You can compete with the "big boys."  

In fact, once you've watched this video, you can kick their butts.

That's right.  You can compete with the "big boys" when it comes to making your sites jump up to the top in Google rankings, and you can do it by just following a few simple steps.

You see, the first three things that I got wrong- and most people get wrong- have to do with the initial construction of the web page.  Nathan showed me three things that I (and you) can do to guarantee that the search engines will quickly find my site, and start it up the ladder to the top.

Then, he showed me a simple trick using multiple websites that I can build myself on my own server that will shoot my sales sites even higher.

You can get all the links you want from high-ranking sites- for free.

Linking to your own site is good, but it's not good enough.  You need to get links from other sites, don't you?  Preferably sites with high page rankings, right?

That's right.

And Nathan showed me how I can do that, over and over, for free. 

Let's just stop and think about that for a minute.  On this video, one tip out of over forty-five minutes of instruction, shows you how you can get free links from high-ranking sites all day long for free!

That means that you're guaranteed to get massive traffic, which will drive your site up higher in the search engines, which will bring more traffic, which will drive your site up higher in the search engines.   Once you start using these techniques, you'll build a perpetual-motion traffic generating machine that will work day and night to bring you traffic.

I asked, "What about other ways to get people to my site?"

Nathan said, "I have a source for "Penny a click traffic."

I've tried Adwords and other "pay per click" strategies.  I almost always ended up paying more for the traffic than I made from it.

When I asked Nathan about that, he agreed.  Then he showed me how to get guaranteed, targeted traffic for a penny per click.  

That does improve the odds, doesn't it?
