Friday Night Marketing MasterMind with Dr. Joe Vitale and Marlon Sanders
This is too good to NOT share.
Last Friday night, I met Dr. Joe Vitale for steak and cigars at our usual undisclosed location.
What was not usual was that we were joined by Marlon Sanders.
Marlon lives in the “cowboy capital of the world”- Bandera, Texas, which isn’t far from our hideout.
I had no idea what to expect. Anything could’a happened. And, it did.
When you put three Internet Marketers together, what do you suppose they talk about?

In this group, I’m the newbie, with just five years experience. Marlon has been at the top of the game for over fifteen years, and Joe’s been marketing and copywriting since it was done with chisels on granite tablets.
So, pay attention. Yes, parts of this video are hilarious. But, under the laughter, there is some serious marketing information.

Well… I asked the speakers to give me bonuses to add to the promotion. So far, only one speaker has managed to come through with a bonus (hint, hint), but it’s the complete videos to HIS 3-day seminar, which he insists that I give away to everybody who buys a copy of the UnSeminar5 videos.
That slowed me down a little. We’ve got to digitize his DVDs and upload ‘em to our server. But, I had to do it. I cannot turn down the opportunity to give you 2 complete seminars for the price of one. And that price is gonna be so low it’s going to scare you. You’ll cower in fear wondering about my mental health.
Don’t worry. My knee hurts like hell (I just had it replaced, remember?) but my mind is still relatively sound. My thinking goes like this: “yes, these are weird times and people are concerned about money, and the apparent lack thereof. Maybe this would be a good time to give back to my readers and customers in a way that will actually benefit them- like how to make money?”
Works for me.

Hey… loved the video.
Sanders came up with the missing link that I’ve been talking about for so long. So many marketers give you the “What” to do but not “How” to do it. The “How” is the missing link.
That’s why Joes e-book sold so well. It was a how to book for writing an e-book in 7 days. I loved it and used it… even though it took me two months to write mine. It was a tangible handbook.

I really enjoyed the video. I am following Marlon Sanders for a while, although he is too fast for me, like marketing on steroids or too much caffein….
so its hard for me to understand. But I loved the idea of Joe Vitale regarding “The Secret Ring”. That made me thinking that we can form a large “secret ring” of Squidoo lenses (on similar topics) made by Portable Empire members, all linking to each other, thus giving each lens a higher ranking. Just a raw idea…. because lets face it, you can set up a whole empire, but you need the people to find you…..
